Open-Hearted

My year of Expansion brought many lessons, but the most important one was the discovery there is always room at my heart’s table. As a “head type” it was daunting, but relying on the wisdom of my heart opened doors to new connections, experiences, and learning.

In 2023, I solidified my belonging to myself, learned to crave my own company, and sat quietly with all my emotions, not just the “nice” ones. I was reminded that healing, like grief, is not linear, and found beauty in the liminal space between vulnerably feeling more, hurting more, and healing more. Open-hearted living feels both wild and measured. It comes with many risks and even sweeter rewards.

As the year comes to an end, I am looking forward to putting the learnings into practice. To staying present and paying special attention to who I am and who I’m becoming.
